Looks: Fluffy buds. They were perfect for breaking up. Not too dry but not too sticky either. The crystals on it just fell off to the touch and the red hairs were a lot longer and brighter than most other strains.
Smell: Extremely fruity. The smell was pretty overwhelming in enclosed areas without even lighting it.
Taste: Tastes how it smells. Almost like a pineapple fruity taste. Sometimes I have even tasted a bit of skunk and a bit of haze to it. Nothing like anything I have ever had.
Buzz Type: Straight to the brain. Huge head buzz and a lot more energy. I never get tired after smoking C99. 3 or 4 hits is all that is needed to feel amazing.
Buzz Length: Medium. About 2 hours after smoking the buzz starts to come down but the high lasts for about 3 hours total.
Overall: My favorite strain of all time. I was completely satisfied in all aspects. The first joint only got about 3 hits out of it before I had to put it out. It was a straight head buzz and complete stoned feeling, but I had so much energy at the same time. The taste lasts in your mouth for a while after. I cannot smoke this stuff before bed or I will be up for another few hours. Great for a wake-n-bake. I am usually a munchie king but C99 does not make me hungry either. The most perfect plant I have ever come across. –1000toes

as for the buds, nice review! i’ve actually never had the pleasure of smoking c99 but from the reviews we have up here and from what i’ve heard from friends, i can’t wait to get my hands on some.

Smoking some C-99 here in Oregon right now. Great smoke, very heady, I like it a lot even though I prefer the heavy indicas. Legally grown, possessed and used with more on the way.
Cindy 99 is light, crisp and tasty. reminds me of a maui i got in honolulu..did i spell that right..lol…yeah its working..I wish my wife was this light, crisp , and tasty…its 4 sure goofy stuff…
my c99 was exactly like this, but it was the skunkiest strain i’ve ever smoked. it was overwhelming, it reminded me of stinky feet. i got an eighth of it, i grinded into a powder and put it back in the bag. the next day i discovered that the crystals grouped together and formed a rock. it was awesome.
Awesome buds, my boy got some C99 and did a great grow to begin with… really tasty and a great uplifting sativa high from what I recall.. That picture is cool! awesome trichss
Low odor strain, but whatever smell does emit from cindy 99 does not smell like your typical weed. C99 is a good base strain if you want to start breeding.
Screwstone’s pic looks different most likely due to cooler temperatures during the last few weeks of flowering. The cooler temps activate the red pigment of the plant and gives a purplish hue to it. So I’m thinking same strain, just different growing temperatures during end of flowering???
Shiva Skunk which is common to both the male and female gene pool has Afghani in it which is prone to pigmentation changes with a reduction in growing temperature.
Also… maybe its “Purple Cindy”???

I just harvested 2 small C99 plants and DAMN… the leftover small leaves covered with resin KICKED my butt into a low level nice mellow high with a kick to it that make me energized.. great high .. i would recommend that anyone wanting a great strain .. easy to grow.. get this. C99 It’s a growers best friend. Happy Growing.
Yeah, i’ve smoked what i clipped from this strain… and DAMN.. it feels good to grow. I recommend you share your shavings with you friends.. just to show how nice of a buzz you will get… i recommend anyone that has not tried c99 try it.
Try growing some C99 if not i would recommend it.Grow is like killer Northern LIGHTS…. MY favorite…what ever.. C99 is the Queen of Bee’s. She Sounds Sweet and all but one toke of this little lady and Bamb… She shows her true colors. She makes you think. She puts you in another PLACE..OMG. Then you wake up to a place you hoped u wished to be.. lol.. Try it.
This strain is one of the most potent strains I have ever smoked in my life. Not kidding. I am an Oregon medical marijuana patient and I am so grateful for that freedom. But when I tell you that this strain is potent I am serious. Here is my review: pineapple/ piney/ fuel smell. Smells like something straight out of the rainforest. Taste like skunk bud, it expanded in my lungs and I blew out a large cloud of smoke and my eyes instantly glazed over and I was instantly baked. Took two more tokes in the same fashion, big cloudy exhale. I was so ripped off 3 hits. At 1st I knew I was really stoned but then I started laughing my ass off, my buddy and I were laughing hysterically, primarily because we knew we had the best medicine on the planet
I ended up passing out for an hour, then I woke up and ate a whole bag of animal cookies, the pink and white ones.
