There are definitely some coffee shops in Amsterdam that have no business entering certain strains in the Cannabis Cup. In 2008, Brainstorm Haze x G13 from De Rokerij was just one of those strains.

Looks: A little leafy. A good word to describe the look would be ‘wild’. Better manicure needed.
Smell: The worst part of this bud was the smell. Very green, leafy, schwagy smell.
Taste: Thick harsh smoke. Very potent resin flavor.
Buzz Type: Pretty clean buzz. Had me laughing pretty hard.
Buzz Length: Medium. Nothing special.
Overall: I really think this bud was entered just so De Rokerij would be included in the 2008 Cannabis Cup. Was not very good compared to other entries.
Buzz Report: Luckily for me when I went to De Rokerij I already had at least a quarter ounce of bud broken up into 6 or 7 strains otherwise I would of had to buy more weed. Brainstorm Haze x G13 just did nothing for me.

This strain is a Delta 9 strain, too bad it sucked. I bought a Sweet Haze from Rokerij in 2006 that wasn’t that great.

with a name like g13 x brainstorm haze you would expect a real strong and long lasting high because of the potency of the parents of the brainstorm haze.

the brainstorm I get was purchased from a hightimes mag last year and that produced the best strain I’ve ever come across and it had a white tinge to it.

Nice review, definitely right on the looks part. Doesn’t look like the best trimming ever but certainly some great bud… I particularly like how the further into the bud you go, the more orange/yellow and brighter color the bud gets. IMHO, hallmark quality of any quality bud. Doesn’t seem like it would be very competitive in the Cannabis Cup, thb.
