Type: Indica
Looks: The bud is light green with a few patches of darker green. It was quite fuzzy with lots of crystals. It also had a few dark orange hairs throughout.
The density was soft and fluffy.
Smell: Smelled a lot like grapefruit. Very citrusy.
Taste: Very smooth and sweet.
Buzz Type: You can tell it’s an indica from the buzz. Can feel it almost instantly.
After a while I got the munchies and got really tired. I ended up falling asleep before work and when I woke up I was a little groggy the rest of the day.
Overall: I would recommend it for night time use. –THCFiend

nice nugs, its Blueberry x God bud a Jordan of the islands strain, canadian strain. The heavy comedown i think is attributed to the god bud wich i personally love its a super heavy buzz indica good for insomnia.
Im not a big fan of blue strains…blueberry to me is like degrading to mix it with something, usually in my experience, the original, is better before it gets the blueberry genetics added in. For example White Widow is better than Blue Widow, imo, and master kush is better by itself than with the blueberry mixed in. Its more about flavor I think, and as a medical user, having a great taste doesnt help me, its the potency. Anyway this stuff looks pretty coated with trichs, probably pretty tastey.

100% agree with Stapleface. Sometime I do like an extra nice smelling bud though, kind of like aroma therapy-ha.
yeah, potency is quite important, as long as there is a good cure and nice clean smoke, flavour is not too important…
bud a bad taste = no no in my books as we covered with the clarification of the apple kush when the reviewer reported it to be bad taste, but then later clarified it to be a not so great taste..
im guess staple when you say, if it doesn’t have a great taste, im assuming you mean, just doesn’t have to be amazing, but at least not bad (like due to a bad cure, etc)

I have to agree with Mike and Staple on this one, there is way too much emphasis on taste and looks for that matter. Blue berry is one of those strains that there’s alot of fakes going around. I have had 3 different BB cuts and only one was really good.

I agree with you about strength. But if you had two side by side with around the same strength and effect which would you choose?
Blueberry is a funny strain because there are so many out there. The real one i’ve gotten to know and base all others is dj shorts. Not all blueberries are the same and with that I would have to say it depends on what blueberry your using first for breeding. After that it would come down to what traits you wanted to keep from each parent, and this differs from each breeder. I have had two strains that were breed using dj shorts blueberry, blue satellite and blue bonnett, and these two strains I would say are better than blueberry it’s self. Others like blue widow, I would agree with you.
@m1ke, yeah i dont want my cannabis to taste bad, thats for sure, but i would rather have a spicey or musty smelling bud that is killer, rather than have something that is ok and tastes like fruit loops or something of that sort.
@Flintsfinest, if I had two side by side and they were equal strength I would definitely take the one who had the best of both qualities, potency and taste.
Basically I was just making a simple statement and I wasnt particularly commenting on this review, its just reading this review made the subject pop into my head. I am just a little cautious of blueberry mixes any more, I dont buy any seeds of that nature due to this. I would rather go with something more consistent, potency wise. Blues always come out tasting good, thats not an issue. I like a more intense indica buzz. Thats my preference, mainly due to my health issues. I dont want to waste my time growing something that might be really good. It has to be, or it wont do what I need it to. Its really nice that the reviews have been flowing lately.

There is a lot of terrible Blueberry crosses and Buleberry strains running around right now. The best one to use for any crossing is DJ Short Tru Blueberry or Original Blueberry.
JOI uses a Tru/Original cross is I am not mistaken, been a few years since I grew any of that. I have the original JOI pre-1999 GOD bud/Blueberry and it is amazing.
It has a way more citrus/lemongrass taste because of the God strain they used. JOI God is a pre BCBD cutting that is all old school.
One more thing I just noticed about this strain from some pictures and notes my bro kept from a grow…..

I prefer bud that tastes good and is a strong high… I have friends that say they would smoke shit if it got them high though

God bud is sleepy weed as the high is heavy and the comedown heavier. The whole BB thing is you have to have the right one like wheez and Flints. I would like some for them times when you can’t sleep which seems to happen more and more as I get older. Short review, but it did get the point across so…
I disagree with alot of these people. I think that Crossing with Blubbery is usually for the better. It doesn’t hurt to add that sweet & fruity combo.
