Slowly but surely I am starting to appreciate a good sativa and Blue Dream from Herbal Solutions is one of the reasons why.

Smell: Fruity. Made me sneeze the first time I smelled it.
Taste: Smooth. Very smooth smoke with little coughing.
Buzz Type: Crystal clear head buzz. Great for activities.
Buzz Length: Medium. Bordering on long. I was smoking sativa all day recently and I was damn high.
Overall: Blue Dream delivers a strong sativa high even with the smaller buds you get in a gram.
Buzz Report: After 2 bowls of Lamb’s Bread I decided to smoke some Blue Dream on my recent "all sativa Sunday". It definitely kicked in the buzz. I was yelling at the T.V. as I watched football all day. Great buzz for cheering on your favorite team! –Chubbs

I got 2gs of this on friday and i must say that i was disappointed
while the high was perfectly clear and i was able to function at maybe 90%, i just didnt get that stoney feeling ive really come to enjoy from such heavy indicas as purple kush, still aninteresting buzz though
you probably just didnt get the stoney feeling that an indica will give you. this is stimulating high good for wrting and making music or other creative activities. this is one of my faves it gives you a clear high, where you don’t feel stuck and sleepy, it makes you want to get busy doing something or going somewhere on an adventure. Blue dream is the truth.
we just got some blue dream in, here in northern ohio.. real nice.. smelling, and tasting.. the buzz is not to intense for not very long…. but definatly is very compact, very nice….

I’m not much of a sativa person but I have grown quite attached to Blue Dream in the last few months, and it’s almost always available at dispensaries in the valley. Many sativas tend to induce headaches for me if I smoke too much; I don’t have that problem with Blue Dream. I do find that if I use it a lot over the course of a couple of weeks it tends to flatten out, but when I mix it in (say an 1/8 once a month or so) with other strains it retains it’s stimulating qualities.
bogey: If you like the Blue Dream that’s going around, see if you can find some Mack-10. Very similar but a little stonier imo.
I got mine in south OC. Its a perfect balanced between relaxed and active. I guess, a good balance between sativa and indica (If your a heavy smoker and like sativa.) Gets you off your ass if your depressed. Makes you want to smoke mo!

Uh I hate to break it to you but Super Silver Haze, spicy jack, and countless others are superior strains of MARIJUANA and are both SATIVAS.

@shelby, theres no proof that claims purple weed is more powerful, just because a strain has some purple in it does mean its superior quality and better than any ‘green’ weed. I think with all the hip hop hype over ‘purple’ some of these dispensaries have decided that purple sells whether or not its some dank
Kush = normally Indica. There are a few strains labeled as “Kush” that are Sativa, but this is not the norm, and if you look at the history, that’s not how it’s been.
“Haze” = Sativa
“Kush” = Indica
I just now picked up some Blue Dream here in South Texas, and it is great, reminds me of amsterdam, wish i could grab stuff like this all the time

Just purchased my first Blue Dream from my fave dispensary in Eagle Rock (Los Angeles.) One hit, two hours ago, and I’m still buzzing. Headed up to San Francisco for the weekend, and can’t wait to experience it with this bud.

Got this in VA seems to be alright gets you HIGH for a short period of time then it fades. Nice body high, I enjoy being able to mix this with Indica to get the perfect effect.

i think i might have had a case of the two different strains coming out cause out of 3 blue dreams im flowering and two took of while the third is a lighter tint of green(more common in sativa) and is seeming like it will take a few weeks longer to get fully ripe hopefully the fourth one i kept for a mother will be more indica dominant
So many are misinformed about bluedream being a sativa. It’s a mix of Blueberry(straight indica) + an unknown very strong haze(sativa). I’ve grown a few from clone and had a more sativa Dom pheno. Then I got some from a club out of Sacramento it had hermi seeds in an OZ got 4 seeds. Out of those I got one complete indica Dom and it’s awesome and kept it going a few rounds. The others where more a sativa Dom and where nice. The indo Dom finished in 8 weeks while the sativa Dom took 10 weeks. The indo Dom is the stuff. The other doesn’t compare. So if you get some that isn’t knock out try it another time. Some going around isn’t even the real deal. While the stuff above looks great , it doesn’t look near as blue as the indica Dom I have. Great strain to grow if you get the indo Dom clones as seeds are really rare it’s considered clone only . Produces 5-6 oz indoor if done correct. I’d love to see what happens outside?

the blue dream product i bought here in san diego was definitely a sativa,
and produced a very decent upbeat buzz. however, they also offered
a mix of blue dream and an indica which might add a needed
heft to the sativa boost. the high really weakened quicker than I
would have liked. the potency to price ratio doesn’t make it a product i’d buy again. i like more bang for my buck. you really need a greater amount to get
to the same happy place. other brands can take you there for
much less cost in 1-2 puffs. by the end of Avatar, my happy
buzz was almost gone. but the movie had turned into
“Pochahontas” so I was disappointed with the film as well ! other
tastings confirmed that this product is an average to good
sativa that could become expensive for regular use by a moderate user with
a medium tolerance level who appreciates a quality, upbeat buzz.

Surfman: I believe you just got a decent batch then, and got charged more than you should of. I get 3.5 for 55 and everytime blue dream puts me in La La Land after 3 hits, definitely in my top 5.
Got some of Nuggetry’s Blue Dream and its absolutely amazing. Very powerful Sativa high that hits you instantly. Tastes like haze/candy in a vaporizer. Been smoking it all day every few hours and i’m still social and physically up to par. Blue Dream is fantastic for depression. Those with anxiety steer clear in my opinion.
that’s definitely blue dream in the picture, and its ONE HIT SHIT. blue dream does have a very fruity flowery sugary smell, covered in heavy bright green and golden trichs, with short bright orange hairs just like in that picture. the smoke from this batch is HIGHLY lung expansive, making you cough like a beyotch. super potent, one hitta quitta. Smoke a hit or two of a j and be high for 6-8 hours. Blue dream is the best smoke ive had maybe ever.

Blue Dream is a Hybrid Sativa Dominant. One of my favs. Along with Jack Herer and Alaskan Thunderfuck. All awesome sativa doms
Blue Dream was featured in WestCoastCannabis’s monthly “Good Medicine” column, which is found on one of the last pages of every issue. I think it was an early 09 issue and Ed Rosenthal took the pic and wrote the review. The parents were blueberry and s s haze. The real Deal was is a result of excellent breeding and i would imagine is clone only because its very very stable and greenhouse recomended.
I am just going to say one thing here, and it is all about the first original Kush strain I ever saw. It was Kyle Kushman’s Strawberry Haze, which then became Strawberry Kush, then just Kushman’s Kush.
That was really a sativa that had a lot of indica traits, but it was for sure more of a sativa cross.
The other Kush that is now popular is an Afghani/Kazak strain that was used for hash production. It was grown between Afgahnistan and the northern Indian areas, and a lot of the original line that is the newer strain now known as “Kush” seems to come from Peshwar.
I have seen a lot of the original Cali Kush that was brought back from the mid-80’s stain with devoted back breeding, and it all favors the sativa side of the branch.

Picked up some bluedream clones the ohter day. will make mother plant out of one and let the other veg until i can clone more. great plant with lots of crystal. will grow 30 plants on my next grow. can’t wait until the girls are ready to bud out.
Wow, not too impressed with the amount I got for the price, but the shit is very potent. Two day trip from the bolt to chi town. Not much of a fan of strong indica so this is perfect.
I have been smoking Blue Dream for the last few months up here in NYC and it is definitely one of my favorite strains..very clear, happy, fun buzz. Perfect for musicians or seeing a movie or even socializing..no paranoia whatsoever.
