Here we go – a great first review from Marijuana Reviews member KushManJockin. Keep ‘em coming!
Submitted by: KushManJockin
Name: Blue Cheese
From: Private Dealer
Grade: A-
Type: Hybrid (80% Indica/20% Sativa)
Price: $50/8th, $100/qtr, $350/oz
Looks: Dark green all around, vibrant red and orange hairs douse the nuggets. Crystals are everywhere you look on the nuggets, seriously looks like it was dipped in sugar. Nice dense nuggets, as well.
Smell: A hint of fruit, but also overpowering skunk and a strong outdoor smell even though it’s produced indoors.
Taste: More of an expanding type of smoke. Very potent and fresh – only way to describe it would be a “heavy hitting skunky fruit smoke”.
Buzz Type: Get up and go play some sports type of buzz. Not a couch locking buzz, very energetic but relaxing at the same time.
Buzz Length: Solid 2.5-3 hours off two adequate sized bowls.
Overall: All in all, this bud is some of the best local bud I’ve seen in a long, long time. As well as a great price (in my eyes). It’s the type of bud that you don’t want to smoke. You’d almost rather frame it and put it on the wall, haha.
Side Note: To start off I live in the suburbs about 25 min outside Detroit. When people need bud they usually go to the city to get the cheap stuff for a cheap price. Honestly that’s not me at all, Id rather smoke on the dankest bud possible and pay a higher price for higher quality.
When I met this guy and saw his operation I almost soiled myself in pleasure. He lives in a 2 story average size house, 3 bed rooms, 2.5 bath and full garage. First off, the main guy who grows it is paralyzed from the neck down. This guy was growing for 18 years before the accident that left him paralyzed. He has a helper that does 99% of the work. He’s only a few miles down the road from me which saves a trip to the city and he never bullshits us. Has about 12-20 plants going at once – most in different stages of vegetative and flowering.
When I go there he likes to talk about the bud and smoke some, which I love to hear because I’m very interested in his ways. After we smoke one, I usually hang around for a minute and chat a little more. When I leave, I place the bud in my trunk, under my spare tire hatch and usually it will still smell by the time I get home. All in all I think for the price, the quality, and the people I have to deal with, it makes getting this amazing bud, a terrific almost soul-comforting experience. -KushManJockin

Still cant log in…sent in a review of my white rhino, now that i think about it i should have taken pics of the big buds instead of small ones. there will be more reviews though, church, trainkwreck, blue widow, white widow, indoor clones of the rhino i did outdoors, big bang, and i think another i will check (its not my grow) but i’m doing the reviews when they are done. ok so enough about me….ive always wanted to try blue cheese, almost got the seeds, looks good would definitely like to get some of that.
mm, looks nice. you should try to get some sunlight for those pics and the trichs would come throught much nicers. I would be interested to see the size of them as it seems like some well matured bud, almost a little over down (the ones in the far right, rear), but it could just be the lighting…
fyi… i doubt your supplier would appreciate the extra details you posted about him. If i worked for a detroit police force, im sure you could track down someone paralyzed from the neck down, as injuries like that will have a record and then by the physical description of the house, even narrow it down more. hahaha, just an fyi. people here talk widely about legal dispensaries in california, which are more legal than not (still they have some troubles).
Looks nice, the 80/20 combo sounds nice as i love my indicas with a sativa tickle… has nice calyx development and slight overgrowth characteristics hinting to the extensive development.
Looks lovely – I grew out some 100% organic stuff a while back that had me tripping, amazing stuff.
The one time I tried Blue Cheese I REALLY liked it. Nice review. Now I want some of that!
Beautiful buds.I tried this strain for the first time about six months ago it was great. I planted one outdoors this year it is one of the shining stars of the outdoor garden. I pollinated two lower branches with a Zambian Cooper Male. An amazingly well structured African Sativa Male, with a beautiful Blue Cheese lady.I can’t wait until the day those seeds crack and I get to see what I have created. I think it is going to be a match made in heaven. Thanks for sharing a nice review. Loved it!
Oh Yeah a question for KushManJockin. Is your I-Phone or I-pod touch sticky when you touch the screen.. hehe
Or is it one of those digital scales that looks like a I- Phone. I think I saw something like that somewhere once. Maybe I was medicated and made it up in my head!
hahah, this one looks like an iphone ahhaha… you know there is apparently an app for it that lets you use the screen as a digital scale? lol
apparently the screen is pressure sensitive and it only weighs a gram or a few, but still kinda neat if someone was able to program something like this.
Looks good enough to eat
i’ve had my share of swiss cheese but, never had blue cheese. would love to try this.
we dont have that here in 718 but we are taking donations!!!

PURPLE CHEESE! some one has to do it
hahah naw its just an iphone.
Dammmnnn Blue Cheese is at the top of my mountains of different buds I want to smoke up. I had some Green Crack, Jack Herer, Afghan Kush, Trix, and some White Rhino. All of those buds were amazing and I’m just hoping to add to my list.
Hey man I live in Ann Arbor, is that where you live too? I have some great plugs here and I know a michigan medical caregiver too. He’s selling clones for very cheap right now and has about 5 different strains growing. Let me know if you live near.
Great review man.
blue cheese was always one of my tops
I really love that classic cheese taste that fills the mouth
Smoke on
If you didn’t post a pic, I’d have said “I agree 100%”. The description is dead on, but mine (A+ imo), is super dense, more yellow and powdery in a “fine flour” kind of way.
Up close its insane, but it has a white/yellow tinge to it. Gorgeous. Thanks for the review.
ide like to get my hands on some of this
I GOT ME A g OF blue cheese, THIS WAS g-13 classifide AS sativa HAD THE WORLD RENOUNED oweful SMELL, SMOKED A BL;UNT , STICKY,SOFT,COMPACT,ALL IN A rightous LIL nugget OF LOVE.. <SORRY BOUT THE SPELLING

last batch looked like the BC(indica)MR. left column
This weed is, honestly, one of the sweetest ones I had the pleasure to smoke. Whomever liked this weed should also try
Amnesia Haze Super Lemon Haze . Those 3 ones are just the 3 most potent tastefull dankiest strains you can grow.
enjoy the varying pheno’s of BC…
the sativa pheno’s are great! the indicas are awesome!
Bc is mostly indica, not sativa… (80/20)
-for those who think its mostly sativa… (nope)
