Haven’t had an edible in a while, but this one sounds like a winner!

Looks: Like a tiny frosted brownie. Dark chocolate brownie with lighter colored frosting.
Smell: When I opened it I smelled chocolate and green butter instantly. A little hint of coffee, maple, and molasses.
Keep in mind I have no idea what the ingredients are and every nose is a little different, but that is what I smelled.
Taste: Like a brownie made with green butter crossed with one of those maple bars you get at the donut shop. Sweet and Yummy!!!
Buzz Type: Immediate. I was feeling it before I finished my second tiny bite. It is a real body high.
I felt like I had super senses: sight, smell, hearing, taste were all enhanced, but at the same time I was sitting perfectly still almost as if I couldn’t move!
I know I only gave this a B+ but I have had edibles that are way more intense, almost psychedelic. I will reserve the A’s and A+’s for something a little stronger. I know they are out there!
Buzz Length: Very long. I’d say 3 hours with no crash at the end.
Overall: Most people might pass this one up just because it is so tiny but don’t let the size fool you. It is what they would call in boxing a contender for "pound for pound champion".
I would say if you enjoy that crazy body high that a lot of edibles can give you, and you can find them then give them a try. I would save this edible for a time when you don’t have much else to do! –SantaCruzMts

That brownie took more than a bite to finish? It’s hardly bigger than a quarter. Something tells me your mind was playing tricks on you when you were feeling buzzed before you finished the second bite. Your stomach needs to digest the brownie before you can feel a buzz.
You did not feel anything from the second bite…..when eating cannabis it gets absorbed through your stomach lining, then heads off to the liver and is converted into a slightly different substance…11 hydroxy delta 9 tetrahydrocannabinol which effects are not possible to feel right away….it takes minimum 30 min- 2 hours to have any effect

I agree with gabechihua, I’ve had some super potent edibles and never felt it kicking in until at least 40-60 mins
the only edible of sort i have been able to get an almost immediate onset or quick onset, is not even an edible… just a tincture made and held underneath the tongue… really just kinda sends some intense buzzes to the brain and slowly sets in, but again, it takes about a 30 mins really to take any full effect…
it has to begin being metabolised by the body for effect..
any clarification on the immediate onset santacruz???
I had one of these from SCPC–I should say I had a bite of one, a little less than half–and after an hour this bugger knocked me on my ass. I was staggering and had such severe cotton mouth–and while I freely admit I’m a lightweight, I do smoke pretty much every day and don’t get cotton mouth. I couldn’t interact coherently with my kids or my wife or parents. It was not a good time for me.
I have had full doses of edibles before, too. But now, after my SCPC brownie experience, I tend to eat a quarter dose to be safe–and I find myself comfortably buzzed at that dosage.
The SCPC brownie is one potent little fucker, to be sure!

I could have finished that thing in a bite easily but I am glad I didn’t because that little bugger packs a punch. My deal with edibles is I either eat a bunch of whatever it is and never get buzzed or they ruin me to the point of amazement, this was one of the latter. I didn’t eat it in one bite beacuse I was tgrying to enjoy the flavor which is difficult for me because I usually dislike the flavor of any edible. This little brownie has a frosting on it and I think that is where it packs it’s punch.. I was savoring the frosting between my tounge and the roof of my mouth and it almost numbed it. And I did feel the high instantly much like a tincture. Which I always attributed to the booze in the tincture.Even if it was my mind playing tricks on me it worked..The mind is a powerful thing you know. I just wish my mind would do that to me every time I ate an edible..

yes, the alcohol plays a large part in that immediate onset, but that is as it is absorbed sublingually (underneath the tongue) the cannabinoids that have bound to from making the tincure, come with.
also, most potent edibles are made from concetrations into a chocolate bar of the sort and etc, which is why the icing may have seemed a little spiked.
i used to visit a nice underground cafe and frequently had been told to eat everything, including the icing, as it has shavings of the chocolate concetrate (basically a $100 6 piece chocolate bar).
I love edibles, but tend to make my own. I’ve documented my canna-butter and brownie cooking via picts/text if you ever want to post it. Kind of a “How to” with a review added if wanted.

I’ve made a few batches of butter and turned it into brownies, and mostly it was o.k. but one batch I made was extremely potent. I got higher than I ever have off a couple bites..took about an hour and a half to hit me but when it did…man, I was laughing uncontrollably for the first hour or so and then just retarded after that. It gave me the worst cottonmouth ever, and made my eyes burn real bad. It was pretty intense.

ay man. i was wondering, i want to make some brownies for 420 2010, since my last 420 was wack, any possible chance of making a “how to” on the whole process.(not a beginner to burning, but this would be the first time making “edibles”) also would you think it to be a waste of $$$ to use cryp (hydro weed or high grade whatever u want to call it, called cryp in south florida) would reggs be better??? i would be very thankful for your help!—sincerely, a stoner…..thanks

Sounds like you ate an intense edible by the way great review! I have to agree with you size doesn’t matter when it comes to edibles; most people tend to pass due to their size. Even I have choose bigger size edibles that I thought were going to be more potent than the little ones, but once I ate it I didn’t really get as high as I thought I would. That’s why always keep in consideration big things come in small packages!
i would like it to be a tad bigger, had one a few weeks ago that was twice the size. But then again i love it for the tasty chocolate purposes just as much as the high
i made a batch of brownies before. i used 1 & 1/4 ounces of regs and split that with my bro and were pretty gone
Edibles are a kind of different high than smoking. I can’t really describe the high from edibles but it’s like more of a spaced out high that lasts longer but is less intense. After reading the review I am surprised that the reviewer got their hands on a good tasting weed brownie. The brownies i’ve consumed kind of tasted like leaves/dirt, but it really got the job done on getting me nice and relaxed.
Man edibles are the bomb when you have a snack during the sesh and its like adding a indica buzz to your bud haha i love it! Great Accurate review!

When people ask if I get high on edibles I always say no. They don’t get me baked on their own. If I am smoking, and I eat a few cookies or a couple brownies, I enjoy a nice tingling body sensation but that’s about it. Maybe a bit more energetic than normal.
For the most part I just like the taste. It’s good to see other people get off on them. Maybe the dispensaries have some secret method of doing them.

i’d love to try some strong edibles, a friend of mine said he ate some brownies when he was in amsterdam and it made him higher than he ever has been, he said he was actually tripping. i’m curious, i’ve never experienced that level of intensity with cannabis. nice review, i think i may research making cannabutter
