I am not sure where the banana in Banana OG comes from because I did not taste or smell it. This sample from RDC was killer yes, but banana like, not so much.

Looks: Very frosty, tight nugs with short dark green leaves.
Smell: Very fresh fruit smell. Like a combination of strawberries and lemons. Very pungent.
Taste: Harsh smoke that tastes like cedar. Very strong aftertaste.
Buzz Type: Creeper effect. Buzz hits hard right after exhaling the 4th hit.
Buzz Length: Medium. 4 big bong hits had me high for almost 2 hours.
Overall: Besides the lame name, Banana OG was a pretty good strain. I just wish it had kept me high a little longer.
Buzz Report: After smoking an entire gram I sat back and waited for the buzz that I knew was coming to hit me. While I had to wait a little longer than expected the buzz was great. Very active. Great for marathon video game sessions. –Chubbs

This reminds me of the “strawberry cough” I had recently. Good bud and all, but no idea where they got the name. That’s the trouble with buying from private dealers, most of the time they just pick a name out of high times to make the bud sound nicer. You’d think things would be different at a dispensary, go figure.

yeh strawberry cough is a great name for it. They stock a real cool variety of it at THC in Willmington. THC also has some bomb sweettooth. I no longer have to go to the green angel to get my sweettooh. THC also gives out GOOD FREE JOINTS the only place in the southbay that does. Its funny how these places will throw a J of crap in your bag even if your a topshelf customer that spends a few hundo weekly.
I worked at a dispensary some times vendors did not know the name so even dispensarys cannot be trusted which is a shame I for one wanna know the history and genetics of my meds
