After taking a look at these pictures, there is NO WAY I will be passing up a chance to vape some Arjan’s Haze the next time I am at The Greenhouse. Demo11, you have me jonesing for Amsterdam!

Name: Arjan’s Haze
From: Private Source
Grade: B+
Type: Sativa
Price: $15/G or $300/Ounce
Looks: Nice shades of green, wild red hairs, and yes this bud looks like it was dipped into a bag full of THC. Very appealing.
Smell: Strange spicy smell at first. When I broke up a bud a bit, a powerful menthol spicy smell invaded my nostrils. Unique smell that made me anticipate smoking the bud.
Taste: Somewhat like the smell, a bit numbing on the tongue. Not the greatest taste I’ve come across. I’m sure that is also partly due to the amount of white to green ratio this bud has.
Buzz Type: Immediate hazy head-cloud. After I finished smoking a joint, I felt awesome. So happy and carefree (but I did have to sit down).
Buzz Length: Long. About 2 hours. Did not feel much of a burnout either which surprised me with a strain this potent. Definitely a bonus when you do not tire out from a bud.
Overall: I was impressed with Arjan’s Haze looks and potency, the taste was not great. But I can easily see why Arjan’s Haze is talked about so positively. Smoking a joint and feeling carefree and happy for such a long time, is why I’m slowly starting to enjoy sativa more and more. –Demo11
Other than the taste, was there anything else that made you decided it was only worth a B+? Cause it sounds pretty damn good to me. –Chubbs

@chubbs, for me to grade some an A- to A+ i feel it must standout in every category. the Arjan’s definately has everything but an “A” quality taste. But for the quality of the high alone i strongly recommend you do not pass this strain up in amsterdam
@demo11: Gotcha.

Where are you getting all these strains, is your dealer shanti baba lol, yh wish i would of tried it in the dam aswell chubbs.
hahaha @dambuster. just wait till you see the grapefruit diesel, and budder
Nice review. I have had all three types of Arjans haze and they are always a delicious smoke. Nothing better then a haze high.
Wow great review. Were there any psychedelic visual effects? The reviewer on the Smokersguide website always seems to experience visual distortions with the weed he gets from the Amsterdam coffeeshops.
Damn.
i gotta try this strain
Would be interesting to know which you got !
Arjan’s Haze #1 ?
Arjan’s Haze #2 ?
Arjan’s Haze #3 ?
All are different I believe. The exact genetics are a secret ! #3 is the shortest haze plant in the world
South American genetics apparently give the non burnout high, pretty sure its a high concentration of “THCV” tetrahydrocannabivarin, one of the more recently identified cannabinoids. Google tells me it is related to hunger suppression.. found some good info here is a paste:
“Tetrahydrocnnabivarin, called THCV, is the shorter three-carbon propyl that replaces the five-carbon pentyl chain. This compound is associated with the fragrance of the plant. In other words, very pungent smelling marijuana normally contains THCV. Warmer temperatures bring out more smell. THCV is found in very potent marijuana that originated in Southeast and Central Asia as well as regions in Africa. Concentrations ”
“There is a large amount of THCV in Pakistani cannabis, which is the one used to make a medicine called ‘tincture of cannabis’. That contained about equal amounts of THC and THCV.”
I know all about CBD and the medicinal value of CBD and CBN and other unknown substances in weed but SHIT I didn’t know this !! the bit about the isomerizer ! I think I wanna get me one of those, I prefer the THC high and always grow sativas
A more common chemical is cannabidiol (CBD). It occurs in most varieties; in very low-potency marijuana, CBD can account for up to 95 percent of the cannabinoids in a given sample. Although not psychoactive, CBD does have sedative, analgesic, and antibiotic qualities. It can also be changed into THC—both naturally and artificially—through a device called an isomerizer.[2] CBD actually interferes with the marijuana high, acting as a “downer” with depressant properties; marijuana connoisseurs consider a low CBD content as important as a high THC level. Users report that marijuana with a high concentration of CBD usually produces “knock-out” or “sleepy” effects
What Arjan’s Haze is this????? There are 3 Arjan’s hazes and 2 Arjan’s ULTRA hazes….please clear this up.
im friggin serios, my name is arjan. dude i didnt even know about this strain today. I absolutely love my name now.
@arjan haha hell yea!
seriously it got a B+ because of the taste? It’s not wine!!! I thought you smoked to get high or atleaste I do. Different tokes for different folks I guess.
It looks to me like it’s an Arjan’s haze and not an Arjan’s Ultra haze (tried both ultra haze’s in the dam, and that definetely doesn’t look like one of them) imo Arjan’s Ultra Haze number 2 was the best, this stuff just had me smiling for no reason after a few tokes, great fruity/spicy flav and a happy head high that lasted for a good 2 hours.
Accurate review, however it needs to be said that the flavor of this herb for us was one of its strongest appeals; maybe not for everyone, but with its minty, woody taste it is a perfect smoke for an outdoor hike or camping trip, making you feel like the great outdoors is captured there in your spliff. The potency was great and it, along with the super silver haze, was the top producer in our last garden of all hazes from Greenhouse…it had some of the most rock hard nugs we’ve produced, very unsativa like.
Oh, and also I’m betting dimes to doughnuts based on the review that the strain being described here is Arjan’s Haze #1…once that minty menthol blasts your lungs, you just can’t mistake it.
i would kill to try this strain. it looks so completely covered in crystals that my mouth just waters and all i wanna do is look at it non stop. i cant even imagine the high and the keif build up must be amazing when grinded.
Thats the best looking haze iv ever seen i am really jealous of people who have tried it i cant wait untill i chief some
DAMN Demo, that looks like some tasty haze, wish i could see a bigger nug, but none the less it looks like fiyah
Some of the cystralliest nugs ive ever seen.Does look likes it was dropped in a bad of THC, some fire bud for sure.
wow only a B+? looks crazy. i had 1 opportunity to take some arjans haze(not sure which one) and i couldnt get a ride out of town. hasnt come back around again in almost 2yrs
you know what stak, i think it was only a B+ for me because at the time i had a lot of amazing kush and BOG strains that tasted sooooooo good i just wasnt into the spicy hazy taste at the time. ive learned to really appreciate that now though. thanks to my friend jack herer
RIP
