Can someone please tell me where the strain AK-47 got it’s name from? Marijuana Reviews member H1JACK3R was kind enough to send us this review of some AK-47 that he got a hold of.

Looks: Still had some dummy leaves. They did not take much time to manicure this herb.
Smell: Good, but not all that powerful. You could not smell it 5 feet away.
Taste: The best quality of this AK was the taste. Super fruity.
Buzz Type: Nice sativa body high.
Buzz Length: Short. 45 minutes.
Overall: Nice active buzz that did not leave you drained afterwards but severely disappointing. One of my all time favorites is the AK-47 x Sweet God. not sure where this grower went wrong. –H1JACK3R
It’s kind of hard to get an accurate idea of the buds look from the pics because of the background color. But even so, I can tell that it’s not the best looking bud. Good review though. They can’t all be A’s. –Chubbs

I had an AK-47 about two weeks ago. It was nothing special but just like this review said the length was real short. Had an okay smell though.
AK 47 comes from Afghani X Kush cross.
Always wanted to try this strain..
try white russian……
white widow and ak47 cross……. much tastier
frustrating when people claim a cross is better…its all up to the user, but honestly legit AK47 is fantastic, but hey, I just love Kush, and Afghani…so cross the two…and im in heaven, thats ak47, then to cross it with white widow…meh…thats similar to white willow= white widow X afghani cross…and I do love that strain….
guess you cant go wrong with afghani or kush
