I was recently contacted by DRC (formerly HC Remedies) and was asked if I’d come by and check out their new location. It took me a few days but I made it up and after taking a look around decided to go with some 707 Master Kush that looked amazing.

From: Discount Relief Collective (Dispensary – Van Nuys)
Grade: A
Type: Indica
Price: $45/8th, $350/Ounce
Looks: Great. Very big, tight buds that are covered head-to-toe in frost and dark orange hairs. Awesome bud/leaf ratio.
Smell: Also great. Nice strong pine smell. Like a nice big x-mas tree.
Taste: Strong. Thick smoke that you taste for a while after exhaling. Kind of woodsy.
Buzz Type: Very hard hitting indica buzz that you feel right away. Very mellowing.
Buzz Length: Long. 1 toke kept me high for good 1.5 hours.
Overall: 707 Master Kush may just be one of the best $45 1/8’s I’ve ever bought. It was well worth the price and I am wishing that I’d of picked up more.
Buzz Report: I just realized that after taking that fat toke you see in the video I forgot to mention what the bud tastes like. That’s definitely good sign in my opinion. –Chubbs

They are in the same building as DEC.
DRC is downstairs, DEC is upstairs.
I have never been to DEC btw.
I’ll have to make sure I check out DRC since I always wanted to check out HC anyways but they shut down. At $45 top shelf I’m happy to see dispensaries getting their act together. I’m tired of seeing top shelf bud being sold at $70 1/8th, especially with the economy the way it is.

Tasted fantastic. As you can see in the vid. even though it hit me good, right away I still did not cough.
I was just kidding when I said I “never” cough. Sometimes I do. But this stuff was smooth as a fine single malt.

@Vaporizer: It’s too early to tell. If I look at the menu right now and make a recommendation, there is very little chance it will still be there next weekend.

Chubbs went to visit 6 clubs in the valley DRC #1 all bud capped @$45 all hash $20 mention marijuana reviews and weedtracker first time patient me and my niece only spend 20/ea for a gm of hash we rec’d 30 worth of freebies 2 edibles, 2 joints ea ,and a vile of 2gms shake each.This place was supposed to open noon on sun they opened up 1/2hr late yet the 15 patients did’nt leave thet waited Now i know why most compassionate club i visited in yrs With like 10 dispensarys in a 3 blk area including one upstairs above DRC 6309 van nuys blvd I will make the drive from santa barbara again

DRC is the bomb. The Fireball OG is the absolute A++ bomb. Also grabed some super silver haze,jet li master,tahoe og,sweet tooth,and 707 bubba kush,and all were fire. This truly is a top notch dispensory.
This place has some pineapple express that people need to know about. I hope they dont get shut down this week.

Chubbs I have been staying tuned with your site and wish I could post some pics of the local 15/g stuff we have in North Colorado, it’s nice, be patient and I will get a better camera to do it, I know this site needs some NoCo (Northern Colorado) reviews.
