HC Remedies is known for their 707 strains. At least they were until they closed down the other day (I am still trying to get some information before posting an update). 707 Diablo Kush lived up to their reputation, sort of.

Grade: A-
Type: Indica
Price: $55/8th, $200/Half, $400/Ounce
Looks: Some small and some medium size green nugs that had a bit of a yellow tint to them.
Smell: Like some real fire. Strong signature Kush smell.
Taste: Very strong menthol taste with almost as strong an after taste.
Buzz Type: Hard hitting Kush/Indica buzz. Another forehead warmer.
Buzz Length: Medium. I kept finding myself heading back to the bong a little earlier than normal.
Overall: Of the 2 Kush varieties I picked up, 707 Diablo and 90210 OG the 90210 was definitely better. But had I not known about the 90210, I’d of been happy with the 707 Diablo.
Buzz Report: Mixed up a little "salad bowl" with some 707 Diablo Kush, 90210 OG Kush and a little Bubba Oil. WOW! Talk about a very heavy indica buzz. I could barely keep my eyes open and it was barely 2:00 in the afternoon! –Chubbs

HCR doesn’t grow that strain to its potential. In my opinion they don’t grow much to its value. If you want the real 707 Diabo Kush go to Reseda Discount Caregivers. They don’t always have it but out of every dispensary I’ve been to they are the best. $60/e cap and they keep their eighths in individual bottles unlike HCR where they keep all the weed in a jar where it is opened and touched by people all day.
Some good strains are 707/diablo kush, platinum og, blackberry bubba, skywalker, vanilla og, etc.

duplicity: Based on you comment I went to Reseda Discount Caregivers (RDC) this afternoon and must say they got a clean operation going.
I got some Diablo Kush, Super Siler Haze, Banana Kush, Blackberry Ksuh, Green Crack and some GDP Earwax. Reviews of all including RDC coming soon!
Two-One: It was decent. I am looking forward to comparing it to the Diablo I just got from RDC. And yes the salad bowl was KIND. I am going to whip a new one up tonight and review it. FAT mix.

I have yet to try their banana kush and SSH. The green crack, diablo, and blackberry are almost always really dank unless they aren’t very fresh then they usually put them on sale for 50-55 dollars. If you like what you got from RDC, keep an eye out for their OG Crack (OG x Green Crack obv.), their 707 Diablo is hands down my favorite strain, I might just commit murder for a clone of it. I’ve gotten A+ mr.nice guy from them on several occasions also.
Look forward to the R.D.C. reviews, they’ve served me consistently quality bud at a good price with a nice staff for almost 6 months now.

Man, the Banana OG with a little GDP Earwax has me BAKED! VERY heavy eyelids.
everything at RDC is mixed with an OG kush, because it’s a higher yield. 707 diablo an indica?, a downer? Nope, its definitley cerebral,and i believe it’s orgins come from a strain called “devil” which was the result of 2 crazy afghanis. i think diablo has a sativa mixed with it, i would say it’s the strongest sativa around. OG vanilla, green crack, bannana OG are all weak in my mind. the best stuff i’ve ever had there was Herauna, a super jack herer hybrid. THe best place is in Malibu, where the quality is better, $55 and under, and they have a lounge. their 91 NorCal is insane. RDC seems like they don’t have the most crystals.
SilverSurfer: I am heading back to RDC today and will definitely be getting the details on 707 Diablo for sure. I swear it was listed as an indica on their menu. Then again, I was really high so I may be mistaken.
You must have a very high tolerance as the Banana got me pretty baked and my tolerance is sky high.

707 Diablo Kush which is what this review is of, is from the now closed down HC Rememdies and was/is an indica. I am not 100% sure if it actually has any “Diablo” in it or if they were just using the name to boost sales.
It sounds like SilverSurfer was talking about Green Angel of Malibu. They are the only place I know of that has a lounge (they have multiple RooRs and a volcano for medicating).

Sweet Christ that’s some good-looking bud. Very similar description to some OG Kush we had in NorCal a few months ago. It always bothers me though how much they charge… I mean quality buds no doubt, but 400/oz is insane. Have you ever gotten any chances to check out dispensaries up north? I hear prices are generally a bit cheaper (depending on the dispensary, obviously) and the bud is a bit different.
With all these fancy Kush’s out there it’s no wonder everyone is so Kush crazy. Well call me crazy, but I just don’t get it. Maybe I’ve never had the right Kush to hit me right.

Every couple of weeks, I swear – Goo Berry, Goo Wreck, Afghan Goo, Purple Goo, GooGoo, Oooey Gooey…Ironically, none of those strains are on here!
It never ceases to amaze me how people falsify names to tax the herb…That, and why everyone’s fantasy name has to have the word “goo” in it.
It’ll be a shame, the day the real stuff comes through, and I pass on the chance to scoop up the real thing.
