With there being so many Haze varieties to choose from in Amsterdam, I was not surprised to find out that the 420 Cafe’s 2008 Cannabis Cup entry was called 420 Haze.

Type: Sativa
Price: Appx. $10/Gram
Looks: Had a distinct red tint to the nug that can be attributed to the coating of mature amber trichomes. Was a bit dry and crunchy.
Smell: Strong tangy/fruity smell.
Taste: Tasted decent. Seems each Haze variety in Amsterdam I tried had it’s own unique flavor as opposed to some Kush’s I smoke here in the U.S. that taste very similar.
Buzz Type: Very clean body high. Felt the buzz immediately after exhaling my first toke.
Buzz Length: Medium. I was really wishing the buzz would have lasted a bit longer. I really enjoyed the high.
Overall: A great variety of Haze that was almost perfectly cured. Unfortunately the buzz did not last as long as I would have liked.
Buzz Report: Sitting in the 420 Cafe with some people that my wife and I had just met, I smoked my entire sample of 420 haze in one joint. Man the thin papers that the coffee shops provide you with for free really bring out the taste in the herb. I kept commenting on how good the 420 Haze tasted. –Chubbs

You’ve hit the nail on the head there…
I have just returned from Amsterdam and whilst there I visited the 420 Coffeeshop nearing the end of my second day there.
Before going to Amsterdam I had seen a review of the 420 Haze on YouTube which got me salivating so I immediately headed for the dealer as I walked through the door.
THIS STUFF ROCKS…As mentioned above the heavy buzz hits you immediately and it tastes devine!
To be honest during my visit I was a bit disappointed at the quality of the smoke over there in general and the 420 Haze was the first smoke that actually got me high…I bought a 5g bag.
On a similar note…the only other place that had smoke that came close to the 420 Haze was Rasta Baby…turn right out of the train station and walk towards the Ibis hotel. Then take the subway foot path accross from the hotel and look left once you’ve hit daylight again.
Both of these places are definitely worth a visit!
In the ‘Dam, A “joint” is mj mixed with tobacco, and a “reefer” is just mj.

I droped by the 420 cafe and asked for some 420 haze. Was amazing. I was talking to the guy at the bar, and apparently 420 haze is just their name for super silver haze.
Oh, and the 420 cafe has a volcano vaporiser that you can use for freeee
