Member Review Session #1 (MRS #1) is slowly but surely coming together. While we don’t yet have a time or location, I have locked up all the sponsorship needed.
Justin from WeedMaps.com has agreed to Co-Sponsor the event and the best part is the Lake Forest Community Collective (review coming soon) will be supplying the weed and hash to be reviewed.
For those of you who don’t know, MRS #1 will be a group review session open only to Marijuana Reviews members where we will all get together for a few hours and review weed and hash that is going to be provided by one of our local medical marijuana collectives.
Requirements For Attendance:
- Must be 21 or over.
- Must have a valid California identification. (We will be checking your I.D.)
- Must have either a valid medical marijuana recommendation or DHS card.
As of right now I am looking at getting a nice suite somewhere in Hollywood/Beverly Hills but have not really looked very hard. Now that the sponsors are lined up I’ll be getting a little more aggressive.
If you have any recommendations about where you’d like to see MRS #1 take place let’s here them. Otherwise stay tuned for another update next week. –Chubbs

Hey Chubbs, I’ve got to say your a pioneer man! You’re really bringing the MJ community together. Just want to say thanks for your hard work and time. Have you thought about having the review at Green Angel of Malibu? I’m not sure if that would conflit with your sponsorship but they have a nice lounge area with a couple of house bongs and a volcano. Plus you wouldn’t have to spend any money on a suite, they’re very friendly and probably would welcome the idea of a MJ review session. Just thought I’d put my two cents in there

I don’t think Green Angel would be to open to us reviewing strains from another dispensary. But I will give it some thought. Thanks for the idea.

Mervin, I don’t think a dispensary would hold an event featuring another dispensaries weed, no no.

@Chubbs – Its called the Rain Forest Collective. They have grass all over the front end and a bong shop built in case you need anything. they are making some good add-ons ill tell you about when we meet. Its a nice place for sure
